The BSV blockchain was the target of a block re-org attack, financial regulators around the world want Binance to cease and desist, and Dr. Craig S. Wright had a significant win in his court battle with Cøbra.

Those are just a few of the many current events that have taken place in the blockchain and digital currency industry in the past 30 days. On the latest episode of CJTV, “Exposing Darknet Money Flow, BSV Attack! Satoshi! Binance! Fake Bitcoin, Puppet Masters and more,” CJTV host ‘CJ’ and CoinGeek’s Chief Bitcoin Historian Kurt Wuckert Jr. take a deep dive into the events that we have seen and are seeing unfold in the blockchain and digital currency ecosystem.

To kick off their conversation, Kurt and CJ talk about the re-org attacks on BSV that we have seen in the past few days. If you are interested in learning more about the block re-org attack(s) on BSV, you can find more information on Bitcoin Association’s FAQ on the July 2021 block withholding/re-organization attack on the Bitcoin SV network.

Afterward, Kurt and CJ discuss why the attackers could be carrying out the attacks and what their incentive or motivation behind the attacks could be. Kurt said, “The only real reason to do anything is vandalism.”

“It’s narrative, it’s social, it’s people trying to say, ‘see, BSV is unsafe, it’s a dangerous place to save your money,’ and this just falls right into the narrative that we talked about in our last video, that they are doing the proof-of-social media thing, ‘don’t do business with the BSV people, they don’t understand Bitcoin, it’s unsafe,’” he explained.

This is not the first time that BSV has been attacked, and unfortunately, it is probably not the last. In the past, we have seen both individuals and exchanges conduct coordinated attacks on BSV in an effort to tarnish BSV’s reputation. Although the re-org attacker remains anonymous at the moment, there is a strong chance that they are conducting their attacks to discredit BSV as well.

Kurt and CJ go on to talk about mining BSV, the role that TAAL Distributed Information Technologies Inc. (CSE:TAAL | FWB:9SQ1 | OTC: TAALF) plays on the BSV network, the Dr. Craig S. Wright vs. Cøbra court case, and Binance.

“The real problem with Binance is that on top of Binance itself being a really shady association, they are also the number one in-road for Tether for the last few years. It used to be BitFinex but for the last few years, it’s been Binance. At some point this is going to get all unwound, it is the largest counterfeiting operation in the history of the world, and that’s what it is, Tether is counterfeit dollars.”

There is never a dull moment in the blockchain and digital currency industry, and right now, there are a ton of socially and politically charged events adding fuel to ongoing fires in both sectors. To find out more about what is going on in the blockchain and digital currency industries, how they relate to and affect BSV, and how they can have an effect on the broader blockchain and digital currency space, then you are going to have to watch the latest episode of CJTV, “Exposing Darknet Money Flow, BSV Attack! Satoshi! Binance! Fake Bitcoin, Puppet Masters and more!
