Are you ready for the CoinGeek Seoul conference? The power of Bitcoin SV (BSV) is about to be unleashed as members of the cryptocurrency and blockchain community gather in the tech capital of the world—Seoul—to discuss all the exciting developments happening on the BSV ecosystem.
The event, taking place at Le Meridien Seoul on Oct. 1 and 2, features an impressive lineup of speakers including nChain chief scientist Dr. Craig Wright and Founding President of the Bitcoin Association Jimmy Nguyen. Expect another fireside chat from the two, where Dr. Wright will share some of his thoughts and motivations to keep developing new projects.
nChain CTO Steve Shadders is expected to make some major announcements in Seoul about the Genesis upgrade happening in February 2020, while BSV Node project lead developer Daniel Connolly is set to discuss Teranode. There’s also nChain senior software engineer John Murphy, who will talk about the Nakasendo SDK, among others.
Also taking the stage in Seoul is Sam Chi, principal of Landmark Entertainment Asia. The global entertainment guru turned blockchain entrepreneur, noted for his firm’s investment in acclaimed Korean film Oldboy, is also a prolific investor in the blockchain and tech sectors, as well as consulting in the crypto space. Other speakers include Alexander Shulgin, Jay Lee, David Case, Matt Dickson, Hayato Kameta, Lorien Gamaroff, Alex Fauvel, and Paul Chiari, among others.
One of the highlights of the two-day event is the second BSV Hackathon finals. BitQ&A, Codugh, and Hive will present their solutions before a special panel of judges, and the winners are in line for a total prize pool of $35,000—paid in BSV.
Download the CoinGeek Conferences app and stay updated on the latest updates. The app not only contains a detailed schedule for the two-day conference, it also features an in-app messenger that allows users to communicate with the BSV society during the event.
