2023 was a big year for Gate2Chain with the unveiling of “Trace,” a platform servicing the supply and distribution chain by facilitating the creation and tracking of tokens or “digital twins.” Using Trace, customers can verify the provenance of an item’s digital twin across the product lifecycle, ensuring authenticity and quality control.

Trace represents a partnership between Gate2Chain and IBM (NASDAQ: IBM), built on the public BSV blockchain due to its unbounded scalability and low transaction fees. To increase awareness, Gate2Chain had a significant presence at the London Blockchain Conference 2023 as an exhibitor, speaker, and sponsor of a pre-conference dinner with the ingredients of the meal all twinned using Trace.

One year later, Gate2Chain has made a great deal of progress with Trace, other platforms, and investment, all set to be revealed during London Blockchain Conference 2024. To give you an idea of what Gate2Chain has in store for us, CoinGeek spoke with Bart Olivares, CEO of Gate2Chain.

Becky Liggero: Thank you so much for joining me today, Bart. I look forward to seeing you and the team at #LDNBlockchain24! Can you start by telling us how things have developed on your end since the 2023 conference? What advancements have you made with Gate2Chain?

Bart Olivares: Gate2Chain has recently made significant advancements, particularly in enhancing its blockchain solutions for businesses. We have successfully closed a new round of financing led by Ayre Ventures, which will be used to expand operations and development efforts.

Gate2Chain has also broadened its client base across several industries, including recruitment, music management, agriculture, and environmental protection, demonstrating the versatility and impact of our blockchain solutions. G2C technology is particularly noted for its ability to ensure data integrity and improve security and efficiency across various applications and processes.

Becky Liggero: Amazing news and an extra special congrats on the financing by Ayre Ventures. Exciting times ahead! Speaking of, what is Gate2Chain’s involvement in the upcoming London Blockchain Conference 2024, what will you be showing the attendees?

Bart Olivares: Gate2Chain will have a booth at the London Blockchain Conference, where it will showcase three platforms:

  • G2C Suite is designed for developers and companies to easily integrate and manage blockchain-based systems across different applications, enhancing data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Minta provides a marketplace for social commerce, enabling businesses and individuals to tokenize and trade products, services, and tickets in a new manner.
  • Trace is aimed at manufacturers and producers, providing tools for tracking and certifying supply chains, which helps improve transparency, security, and customer engagement.

Becky Liggero: I love it. What are you most excited about when it comes to London Blockchain Conference 2024?

Bart Olivares: We would like to see active participation from companies and governments seeking solutions to their challenges in data integrity management. On the other hand, we hope to find partners and strategic alliances with other companies in the ecosystem, as well as consulting companies and system integrators.

Becky Liggero: Wishing you a fantastic experience at London Blockchain Conference 2024 and looking even further out to 12 months ahead and beyond, what can we expect to see from Gate2Chain?

Bart Olivares: We hope to achieve a gradual adoption of our technology, starting with early adopters and moving to the mass market. Our focus is on helping companies and governments adopt this technology to solve real problems. That is what we do and what we want to continue doing in the coming years.

Becky Liggero: I’m looking forward to following your progress on that! Anything else you would like to add?

Bart Olivares: We would like to extend our immense gratitude to the organizers of the London Blockchain Conference for inviting us to participate in the event, as well as to our partners and team since G2C would not be possible without the combined efforts of a small group of great people.

Becky Liggero: Agreed. Thank you so much, Bart, and see you very soon. Keep up the amazing work!
