CoinGeek’s Chief Bitcoin Historian Kurt Wuckert Jr. has a lot going on these days—from GorillaPool to launching the BSV Florida Citadel to a stealth project about to be launched.

In this episode of CoinGeek Weekly Livestream, Kurt discussed his views on the BSV Florida Citadel, what it should look like, feel like, and how it can benefit the Bitcoin SV ecosystem. He envisions the BSV Florida Citadel to be a place that embodies a developer culture.

“I want more people in hoodies hanging out and building apps and working together in solving problems as teams,” he says.

The BSV Florida Citadel will not just be a community of developers supporting each other. For Kurt, it will be a competitive environment where ideas breed and ultimately give birth to bigger and better ideas. He sees this type of community work set-up sprouting in different parts of the world in the long haul.

Before joining CoinGeek, Kurt worked on a stealth project that he believes will revolutionize the cybersecurity landscape. The unnamed project, which he describes as a cybersecurity suite of tools based on Bitcoin SV, is soon to launch, along with some big partnership announcements.

Apart from participating in the upcoming BSV Global Blockchain Convention this May, Kurt plans to set up several satellite events geared toward specific industries. In these intimate gatherings, Kurt plans to talk to attendees about BSV tools and how to utilize them in their businesses, as well as to help entrepreneurs accelerate startups. He believes educating a target audience, one industry at a time would be a smart way to get businesses to utilize BSV backed software and applications.

Some intriguing questions came up in this ‘Ask Me Anything’ episode. One of them being: When will Kurt debate Richard Heart, the founder of Hex? As Kurt says, several threads on social media suggest that he engage in a debate with Richard. Kurt does not oppose the idea. However, he questions the type of debate they would have and what valuable topics would be discussed. For his part, instead of speaking to Bitcoin and blockchain opinionated people, he would rather engage with individuals who have new and innovative ideas and creations.

Kurt was also keen to discuss a comment made by nChain Chief Scientist Dr. Craig Wright in an interview saying the plan is to run all alts on BSV. When asked how this will affect transaction fees on other chains, Kurt explains that the concept already exists.

“There’s already SAITO and some of this other stuff being traded on RelayX because you can do it. This is easy. This is the power of tokenization and scale and a powerful stack,” he notes.

Kurt goes on to explain the method by which tokenized Ethereum, Litecoin, and Doge can run on BSV. “It would take like 20 minutes of coordination and minting to make that happen, so that’s exactly what that could look like, it’s very simple,” he says.
