After a successful inaugural round in Tokyo last year, the Japan Blockchain Conference (JBC) is making its way to Yokohoma this January—and over 150 cryptocurrency and blockchain companies from around the world have signed up to participate.
Organized by the Global Blockchain Association, the second Japan Blockchain Conference will take place at the Pacifico Yokohoma Hall B on January 30-31. JBC is considered to be the largest blockchain conference in Asia, with seminars and lectures by key players in the blockchain industry. There’s also an exhibition zone featuring leading companies not just in Japan but from other countries as well.
This time, over 150 expert companies and organizations in the crypto and blockchain field are all set to show their latest developments to an expected audience of 25,000.
The two-day conference is also the place to be for leaders, including MGT Capital Investments CEO John McAfee, venture capitalist Tim Draper, Line Corporation Executive Officer Shinichiro Muroyama and nChain Chief Scientist Dr. Craig Wright, among others, to share information and show their achievements in the space—all in the name of advancing and expanding the applications of blockchain technology.
According to the event organizer, JBC “is where the world’s blockchain companies and organizations can get together to form partnerships and exchange information. What’s more, it is a space where everyone can come and experience the leading-edge tech and expertise cultivated In Japan.”
Tickets are on sale now for the Japan Blockchain Conference – Yokohama Round 2019, but work fast because there’s only few tickets remaining. The VIP Pass, priced at JPY100,000 (US$885), includes access to the lounge for the entire conference as well as the After Party on January 30 and Celebration Party on January 31. There’s also the Expo Pass (JPY3,000 for 1-Day Pass and JPY5,000 for 2-Day Pass), which will guarantee you access to the Exhibition Zone as well as the speeches and seminars by prominent figures in the industry. At-the-door price for the 1-Day Pass is JPY4,000.
