Jack C. Liu closes investment in BOEX.tv, a Perpetual Futures platform built on Bitcoin SV

BOEX Ltd is a Singapore-based startup building an onchain Perpetual Futures trading platform. Today they announced closing an investment round with Jack C. Liu, founder of RelayX. The investment will be used to continue development and growth of the BOEX platform.

Since the launch of BOEX.tv, the platform has:

  • Supported over 7,500 BSV ($1.29million) in trading volume from over 6,000 unique traders, with traders predominantly from Asia.
  • Launched 4 trading pairs for perpetuals and options trading markets.
  • Pooled liquidity of over 3,265 BSV ($561,580) and growing.

Perpetual futures were recently launched by BOEX on October 6th and reached a daily trading volume of over 1000 BSV in recent days. As part of a promotional first month, BOEX is currently not charging any fees and traders who lose or break even on trades qualify for trade loss mining of BOEX tokens. Current trading pairs available are BSV, BTC, BCH and ETH with more to come.

BOEX today supports integrations with Money Button, Dot Wallet and RelayX, with other wallet integrations like Volt and Handcash to be added. Trading is done fully onchain, meaning users benefit from non-custodial management of their funds. With continued improvements to their UI, BOEX aims to become a top trading platform in the BSV ecosystem.

Speaking on the closing of the round, Justin, founder of BOEX said:

“We are very happy to receive investment from Jack Liu who has a good history of working with successful teams in the exchange space for many years. Our team is focused on delivering the best product experience for trading onchain derivatives for a global userbase.”

Speaking on his investment into BOEX Ltd, Jack C Liu said:

“BOEX has built an impressive community and a leading perpetual futures product in a short period of time. I’m looking forward to helping Justin expand internationally with their upcoming releases.”

The investment paves the way for the team to decentralise the trading protocol further with use of Bitcoin script. It also points to the beginning of stronger collaborations and communications between the English speaking side and the Chinese speaking side of the Bitcoin SV space.
