Dr. Craig Wright and Bitcoin Association Founding President Jimmy Nguyen will be among the speakers at the upcoming Baikal Blockchain & Crypto Summit. The event will be held on August 27, and will focus on the latest developments in blockchain and what the future holds for the industry.
Now in its sixth year, the Summit has always pooled some of the biggest names in the blockchain industry who gather in Irkutsk, Siberia, to discuss some of the most pertinent issues in the industry. In 2019, the event attracted hundreds of attendants from Europe, Asia and the U.S., with the block reward halving being among the most popular topics.
This year will be no different, with Dr. Craig Wright set to grace the event. Dr. Wright will share his vision for the future of Bitcoin and why only Bitcoin SV, with its unbounded blocks and very low fees, adheres to his original protocol. Founding President of the Bitcoin Association Jimmy Nguyen will also return to the summit, having been among the key speakers last year.
Also on the list of speakers will be legendary Russian music composer and blockchain investor Alexander Shulgin, a vocal Bitcoin advocate and the Bitcoin Association’s ambassador for Russian-speaking countries.
Other speakers include TAAL CEO Jerry Chan, CEO and founder of Diplomatic World Barbara Dietrich, QIWI Group CEO Boris Kim, the managing partner at Genezis Technology Capital Venture Fund Maxim Shekhovtsov and Hans Hyun, the senior managing partner at Emerging Asia Capital Market.
Some of the topics to be discussed will include the latest developments in blockchain technology, emerging business models and perspectives, and the future of blockchain. The attendees will also get to interact with some of the leading minds in the industry.
