Bitcoin SV wallet Money Button has announced a new onboarding process that makes it easier than ever to access third-party applications.

Money Button users can now access apps such as PowPing, Twetch and Peergame by simply keying in their email address, username and the preferred currency. The company announced the new onboarding process on Twitter:

In an accompanying blog post, Money Button listed some of the advantages of its new onboarding process. They include the ability to register all in one place without the need to leave the app one is in.

As shown below, the Money Button interface pops up on the platform you’re accessing—in this case PowPing—and once you key in your address and username, you can access the platform seamlessly.

The new onboarding process is also quick and secure, Money Buttons stated. The wallet generates an encrypted password for you that you can change later on in your Money Button account.

“Your credentials are encrypted, secured, and not shared with the 3rd party apps at any point. As a non-custodial wallet we do not have access to your private keys or password either,” Money Button added.

The newest feature is part of Money Button’s efforts to make onboarding as easy as possible. In August, the wallet partnered with Coinify to allow its users to fund their BSV wallets using a credit card. Users can access this feature on the Money Button platform under the ‘Add Money’ button. In addition to the Paymail and standard BSV address options, the wallet now has an option to add funds using a credit card.

Money Button also recently cautioned its users against falling for online scammers that are imitating the company to defraud users. These scammers have been requesting personal information from the wallet’s users.

“With this being said, Money Button would like to emphasize that we will never request for you to send money to any Bitcoin address. This is an important note to eliminate any potential scams for our users and we cannot emphasize it enough,” the notice read.

For any queries or to report any issues, users are advised to ONLY contact the wallet’s support team via the official email address: [email protected].
