NFTs, Web 3.0, George Gilder and more: Watch CoinGeek New York Day 2 live

After a jampacked first day at CoinGeek New York, Day 2 promises another stellar lineup of speakers who will delve into some of the digital currency industry’s biggest topics. Economist George Gilder will take the centerstage today, along with other speakers including Centbee’s Lorien Gamaroff and Nasdaq’s Jill Malandrino.

Event host Founding President of Bitcoin Association Jimmy Nguyen will open Day 2 of the CoinGeek Conference in New York. CoinGeek’s Patrick Thompson will moderate the first panel of the day, focusing on better Bitcoin wallets for consumers and businesses. He will be joined on stage by two of the people behind some of the Bitcoin industry’s best wallets in Centbee’s Lorien Gamaroff and HandCash CEO Alex Agut.

Some of the groundbreaking apps built on the BSV enterprise blockchain showcase what they are doing and what they believe the future will bring. These include Relica, whose co-founder and CEO Daniel Street will be speaking; MetaID, with Sunny Fung talking about “One Blockchain, One ID”; and Vaionex CEO Robin Kohze who will talk about Relysia, a Bitcoin SV super wallet. Honā’s George Siosi Samuels and Peer Company’s Jeffrey Baek will take the stage as well.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are the biggest buzz in the digital currency industry currently, with every other public figure now minting their own NFTs. CoinGeek New York will dive into this exciting field, with three panels dedicated to NFTs.

SLictionary’s John Pitts will talk about how his platform is integrating NFTs, followed by a panel moderated by Jimmy that will discuss the NFT wave, featuring Fabriik Digital Objects’ Eric Bernhard, SmartLedger’s Shawn Ryan, and NiftyCo’s Victor Tang.

Media influences people’s perceptions in any field, and digital currencies have been no different. Nasdaq’s global markets reporter Jill Malandrino and City AM’s digital currency lead James Bowater will be at hand to talk about the media’s influence on Bitcoin.

George Gilder, the author of the bestselling 1981 book Wealth and Poverty will deliver the keynote speech for the day. Gilder, who is a regular at CoinGeek events, is widely respected for his contribution to supply-side economics.
