New Zealand based digital assets exchange Dasset has announced it will support Bitcoin SV (BSV), providing a fiat on-ramp and exchange for Bitcoin users.

The Auckland-based exchange said it was carrying BSV with immediate effect, offering up BSV/NZD and BSV/BTC trading pairs through its exchange platform.

The news comes at a time when BSV adoption is rising rapidly around the world, especially in tech savvy Australia and New Zealand. Both for the utility of fast, low-cost international payments, and as a protocol for developing apps powered by microtransactions and massive scale capacity, the decision to list BSV will be welcomed by digital currency enthusiasts in Dasset’s territories.

Jimmy Nguyen, Founding President of Bitcoin Association, said the fiat on-ramp on Dasset would open BSV to more users in New Zealand and Australia.

“A key element in ensuring that the Bitcoin SV growth story continues across the globe is making the process of onboarding new users a fast and simple process. With the introduction of a new fiat on-ramp to buy and sell BSV at Dasset, that process just got easier for people across New Zealand and Australia, who now have another reputable, lawfully-registered service provider to use as an onboarding option into the Bitcoin SV ecosystem.”

Dasset CEO Stephen Macaskill said the listing of BSV would give its users the chance to discover BSV, and decide how best to use Bitcoin in their digital future.

Cryptocurrency has always been a battle of ideas. We recently listed Bitcoin SV to give customers the opportunity to discover, and ultimately decide, which crypto assets will best serve their digital future.”

In introducing support for BSV, Dasset becomes the latest global exchange to turn on to BSV, at a time when more exchanges and platforms around the world are backing Bitcoin BSV. South Korea’s Bitribe now offers BSV in its aggregate trading section with BSV/USDT and BSV/BTC trading pairs, while Canadian online brokerage firm Netcoins added BSV to its platform, and three Australian trading platforms added fiat currency onramps for BSV. The three were joined by U.K.’s Bitcoin.co.uk which also added fiat support for BSV.
