Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

nChain, the leader in enterprise-grade public blockchain solutions, is one of the sponsors of the upcoming CoinGeek Live conference. We recently caught up with their Director of Business Service, Simit Naik, who told us what the nChain team is currently working on, and what he looks forward to at the upcoming CG Live conference.

What are you and your team currently working on?

Lots of exciting things! nChain has grown as an organization, building on all the good things we’ve done over the last 4 – 5 years. From having one of the largest portfolios of research related to blockchain technology, to building one of the largest and most experienced blockchain development teams, the last few months have been key in allowing us to take advantage of some of the market opportunities that exist. We have spent the last few months understanding these market opportunities, validating demands and ideas and executing our strategy in order to deliver enterprise solutions to our key clients. The next 6 to 12 months are going to be very interesting.

What is your favorite thing about CoinGeek conferences?

Seeing the progress of Bitcoin SV adoption and the increasing number of non-crypto organisations that are attending CoinGeek Conference interested in building on the world’s most scalable, secure, and stable ledger.

What do you look forward to in the upcoming CoinGeek conference?

Getting the thoughts and views of those within financial services on what use cases are prime for blockchain. We are now seeing traditional organsiations looking at blockchain for delivering capabilities that just aren’t possible with traditional systems. With central banks looking at blockchains to deploy central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and the ever increasing numbers of financial products being built on Bitcoin SV, we are at a very interesting point in blockchain adoption. The conference will be pivotal in understanding the opportunities that exist and what we need to do to position ourselves to take advantage of these opportunities.

What are your must-see presentations at the three-day conference?

As EHR Data is close to my heart, I am excited for everyone to see the amazing progress we’ve made and get an insight into what we are planning to do next. The iGaming presentations on Day 3 will be interesting as I believe the gaming industry is slowly realizing the benefit and capabilities of blockchain solutions. And, of course, Craig’s insights are always valuable, enabling us all to understand the true power of Bitcoin.

Make sure you tune into CG Live, the upcoming CoinGeek conference that takes place from September 30 to October 2! If you have not already registered for CG Live or are looking for the full agenda, you can find more information here.
