The beats of Bitcoin in India are echoing loud and clear since the Budget 2022-23 Session took place earlier this year. Exchanges halted trading while most of them moved their operations to Dubai and Singapore, a 30% tax on all digital currency gains is being charged at the time of writing.
Speculation clouds the news related to this industry, making it vital to divert the focus towards education—education of the real deal like blockchain technology and the original Bitcoin, aka BSV, which is built on the original Bitcoin protocol.
In exciting news, the first-ever Enterprise Utility Blockchain Summit India will be held at the LaLiT Ashok in Bengaluru, India, on August 5. The summit will predominantly focus on India-stack and blockchain, scalability, IPv6 and IoT, micropayments, tokenomics, and their varied applications. A technical workshop demonstrating BSV blockchain-based products by participating companies will be held the following day, on August 6.
“This event will educate the potential blockchain entrepreneurs and the rest of the attendees about blockchain scalability and low transaction fee, providing real solutions to businesses and enterprises,” Mallikarjun Karra, Director of TimeChain Labs and one of the organizers, said.
Among the speakers will be Lorien Gamaroff, the CEO of Centbee, who will be jointly launching BitRupi, the BSV top-up widget developed by TimeChain Labs. BitRupi will be integrated with Centbee and HandCash for the residents [users] in India.
Dr. Satya N Gupta, Chairmn of Bharat IPv6 Forum and Blockchain for Productivity Forum will be speaking at the event along with CoinGeek’s Chief Bitcoin Historian Kurt Wuckert Jr., Robin Kohze of Vaionex, and Prof. Sandeep Shukla of IIT Kanpur, an Ivy league technical school in India. Prof Shukla is among the country’s foremost blockchain experts, connected to influential names in the government and the blockchain sectors. Nitish Mittersain, the Founder of Nazara Tech—the biggest gaming tech company in India, is also a speaker at this summit.
Sujith Nair, co-founder and CEO of BECKN Foundation, the protocol powering India Stack, will also speak at the event along with Dr. Craig Wright and IPv6 Forum President Latif Ladid. The event is organized by Rohan Sharan and Mallikarjun Karra of TimeChain Labs, Parimal Priyadarshi of Nu10 Technologies, Kapil Jain of nChain, James Chacko of CEEDI, and KumaraGuru Ramanujam of Moneyswipe.
