What do Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino and Scarlett Johansson all have in common? Apart from being some of the biggest names in Hollywood, they can all now be seen in TaTaTu, a streaming movie and games platform that integrates cryptocurrencies to reward viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, TaTaTu has inked deals with three independent movie studios to increase its library of offerings and will now be able to include 50 more movies thanks to the agreements.

TaTaTu already has one major partnership deal, which it secured last year with Johnny Depp’s production company, Infinitum Nihil. The latest deal involves Kew Media Group, Lakeshore Entertainment and FilmFour. According to the media outlet, “The deals will provide more than 50 films and TV shows to TaTaTu users, including the likes of Heathers, The Amateurs, Hotel Splendide, The War Zone and the Children of the Corn trilogy, and featuring talent such as Jeff Bridges, Scarlett Johansson, Daniel Craig, Tilda Swinton, Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson, Winona Ryder, Tommy Lee Jones and Kristen Stewart.”

TaTaTu launched last year and seeks to be “one of the largest AVOD [audio-visual on-demand] platforms for content in the world,” according to its founder, movie producer Andrea Iervolino. He adds, “When you combine our model which compensates users financially for viewing content along with the variety of content choices, TaTaTu will be one of the most compelling platforms for consumers to view their favorite content.”

The platform introduced its own crypto token, the TTU, with the launch of the service that pays every time a movie is watched or a game is played. The amount earn varies, but fans should be drawn to the ability to earn money for doing what they love.

TaTaTu recently acquired the rights to the documentary Friedkin Uncut, which features a number of A-listers, including Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola, Matthew McConaughey and many others. It is also introducing original content and is working on a feature film adaptation of Waiting for the Barbarians, a novel by J.M Coetzee, which will star Johnny Depp. Coetzee is a Nobel Prize awardee, having been given the honor in 2003 for his work in literature.
