CoinGeek Live is right around the corner, the highlight event of the year in the Bitcoin SV (BSV) calendar. Day 1 sees a packed agenda of presentations and seminars, drawing on some of the most experienced professionals in Bitcoin and business.
The day gets underway at 0900 EST, with the founding president of Bitcoin Association, Jimmy Nguyen, taking to the floor. Nguyen is set to chair the three-day event, opening with an address around the key theme of the conference: Bitcoin SV: One World, One Chain.
At 0925, Steve Shadders from nChain takes to the stage for a technical update on what’s happening with BSV, looking at the ongoing development of the technical infrastructure needed to support BSV as the world’s blockchain.
Robert Rice, Founder & CEO, Transmira Inc. follows with a presentation called “XR (Experiential Reality) Applications: Greater Power with Bitcoin SV,” looking at implementations of BSV in real-world applications.
A panel discussion entitled Better Payments: Improving the Consumer Experience with Bitcoin brings together Derrick Horton (President, AnyPay), Nick Jones (CEO & Co-Founder, Zumo), Daniel Lipshitz (CEO, Gap600) and Bernhard Müller (Manager & Chairman, Centi LTD) to explore the payments use case for BSV.
The next hour focuses on digital asset security and custody, with Karen J. Wendel from TrustChains, before another panel discussion featuring Scott Purcell of Prime Trust, Michael Shaulov of Fireblocks and Josh Schwartz of Curv.
Joshua Ashley Klayman, Senior Counsel at Linklaters LLP will lead a session on Regulation of Digital Assets & Digital Asset Businesses, alongside a former COO at the US Treasury, Howard Schweitzer, and co-chair of the FinTech Task Force for the European Commission, Pēteris Zilgalvis, J.D.
The afternoon welcomes nChain Chief Scientist Dr. Craig S Wright to the presentations for the 3rd Bitcoin SV Hackathon, before delivering his keynote presentation “Outsourced Computation on Bitcoin: How One World Blockchain Powers a New Future for Computing & Cloud System.”
