CoinGeek Bitcoin Cash hash power up 27%

This week marks another period of growth for the Antiguan-based CoinGeek Mining Division, which already holds the top spot among Bitcoin Cash (BCH) miners around the world.

On Thursday, CoinGeek widened its lead over all other Bitcoin BCH miners, accounting for 27.78% of the BCH global hash power, according to Coin.Dance data. Trailing far behind is AntPool with 9.03%, followed by Rawpool, BTC.com and ViaBTC with 8.33% of hash power each.

Bitcoin.com holds 2.78% hash power, followed by BMG Pool with 2.08%, SBI Crypto with 1.39%, BTC.top with 0.69%, and F2Pool with 0.69%. Other mining pools hold 30.56% of global BCH mining hash power.

On a seven-day basis, the Antiguan-based CoinGeek Mining Division is up to 25.2%, followed by Rawpool with 8.9%. Coming in third is BTC.com with 8.2%, while ViaBTC has 7.8%, and AntPool holds 7% of BCH global hash power. Trailing behind were Bitcoin.com (6.4%), BTC.top (4.7%), BMG Pool (2.9%), SBI Crypto (2.5%), F2Pool (1.8%), and Huobi (0.1%). Other mining pools account for 24.5% of BCH mining hash power.

CoinGeek first took the top spot among Bitcoin BCH miners in early July. A month later, it turned on another 20,000 miners—a move that further cements its spot at the top of the BCH global mining pools.

This period of growth comes on the heels of the announcement that CoinGeek has signed an exclusive deal to distribute Squire Mining Ltd’s next-generation ASIC chips and mining rigs for mining of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as well as alt coins such as those using SegWit technology. Under the deal, associates of CoinGeek, Bitcoin BCH’s largest mining company, have the exclusive right to market, promote, solicit, sell and distribute Squire’s new ASIC chips and mining rigs to Bitcoin BCH and other alt coin miners throughout the world.

The pilot production test run of the initial ASIC chip and mining systems for Bitcoin BCH is expected to be completed by the end of fourth quarter of 2018.

Enterprise-level miners are invited to the CoinGeek Week Conference, happening in London on Nov. 28-30, to meet with the CoinGeek team and discuss how this product can improve your business.

Tickets are on sale now and discounts are available for early purchases, as well as for multi-day tickets. Additional discounts are available to members of the bComm Association, and all tickets must be purchased using BCH.
