Claire Celdran is a Senior Reporter and Writer at CoinGeek, where she covers blockchain, artificial intelligence, fintech, digital transformation, digital identity, and enterprise technology. Her reporting focuses on how emerging technologies move beyond concepts into real-world applications, with stories exploring enterprise blockchain adoption, digital payments, stablecoins, AI, financial innovation, and public-sector modernization across Asia and beyond. Her work is driven by a commitment to making complex technologies accessible to business leaders, policymakers, and mainstream audiences.

A veteran broadcast journalist with more than two decades of experience in the Philippines and the United States, Claire has built a career translating complex issues into clear, engaging stories for mainstream audiences. Her work combines the rigor of traditional journalism with deep coverage of emerging technologies, enabling her to explain not only how innovation works, but why it matters to businesses, governments, and everyday people.

Since joining CoinGeek in 2020, Claire has reported from many of the world’s leading blockchain, fintech, and technology conferences, interviewing founders, CEOs, regulators, policymakers, investors, engineers, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of innovation. Her reporting examines topics ranging from enterprise blockchain and tokenization to artificial intelligence, digital identity, financial inclusion, digital assets, and the evolving role of technology in business and government. Whether covering policy announcements, startup ecosystems, or enterprise adoption, her focus remains on connecting technological innovation with its real-world impact.

Before specializing in technology journalism, Claire spent nearly a decade as one of the Philippines’ most recognized television news anchors at CNN Philippines. She anchored several of the network’s flagship news programs, including New Day, Newsroom Weekend, Global Newsroom, Headline News, and Solar Daybreak, delivering live coverage of major national and international events, including elections, natural disasters, business developments, and breaking news. She also hosted Behind the Brand, a business program featuring interviews with executives from some of the Philippines’ most respected companies.

Earlier in her career, Claire worked in the United States as a television news anchor and reporter for EBRU TV in New Jersey, where she covered business, finance, healthcare, cybersecurity, and U.S. public policy. She interviewed economists, financial analysts, government officials, and business leaders while producing and anchoring daily international newscasts. The experience broadened her perspective on global affairs and strengthened her foundation in business and economic reporting.

Claire‘s journalism experience extends beyond live broadcasting. Based in New York City, she worked for NBC Universal as a News Researcher for The John Walsh Show, researching investigative stories, developing editorial pitches, and coordinating guest bookings. She later became a freelance casting producer for production companies creating programming for Warner Bros. Television, Bravo TV, ABC, HGTV, and Discovery Channel. Her television production credits include internationally recognized programs such as Cash Cab, The Bachelor, Wife Swap, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and ElimiDate.

Claire began her journalism career at ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), where she worked as a news anchor, television host, producer, and weather presenter. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production, majoring in Mass Communications, from Assumption College in Manila.

Beyond reporting, Claire is a sought-after conference host and moderator for technology, finance, and business events across Asia. She has moderated executive discussions featuring CEOs, regulators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators on subjects including blockchain adoption, financial innovation, artificial intelligence, digital regulation, and financial inclusion. Her experience as both a journalist and moderator allows her to guide meaningful conversations while making highly technical topics engaging and accessible for diverse audiences.

Throughout her career, Claire has interviewed hundreds of newsmakers—from heads of government agencies and legislators to technology pioneers, startup founders, Fortune 500 executives, investors, and internationally recognized personalities. Her interview portfolio includes global celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Lea Salonga, the Black Eyed Peas, James Arthur, Cesar Millan and Mitch Albom, alongside Philippine policymakers including Senator Sonny Angara. This breadth of experience has shaped her ability to ask insightful questions and communicate complex ideas with clarity and balance.

Claire was also featured in On Air Na! Pinoy News Anchors Live!, the Philippines’ first guidebook on television news anchoring, recognizing her contributions to broadcast journalism.

Today, Claire continues to report from major technology conferences across Asia and around the world, combining the credibility of an experienced broadcast journalist with specialized reporting on emerging technologies.
