This week, Kurt Wuckert Jr. is broadcasting live from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for an “Ask Me Anything” episode—but even before live viewers got to start firing their questions, the host dropped hints about the upcoming CoinGeek Conference taking place on June 8-10 in Zurich, Switzerland.

“There’s a bunch of incredible stuff that’s going to be happening and announced at CoinGeek,” Kurt says. The CoinGeek chief Bitcoin historian is set to host a number of panel discussions in the conference, including one that involves someone whom he refers to as a legend.

On this episode of CoinGeek Weekly Livestream, Kurt explains the logic behind holding this year’s conference in Switzerland. “Swiss banks have a very unique relationship with money and with banks for the rest of the world,” he points out. “They’re keen on learning what they can about Bitcoin and modern economic.” He notes that several announcements will be in relation to servicing the global bank infrastructure, opportunities for frictionless transactions, as well as ways to optimize the country’s old banking system.

Also discussed is a noteworthy speaker at the conference, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, a Lebanese-American essayist and the foreword writer in the Bitcoin Standard, a book explaining that BTC is digital gold. Taleb, ironically came out later on to publicly criticize BTC. “He didn’t see why small block BTC Bitcoin has any value to the real economy,” Kurt says.

Taleb’s appearance at CoinGeek is deemed significant as he is expected to talk about his evolution story explaining how he went from writing for one of the most prominent BTC books to his current views about the said blockchain.

Kurt also makes a quick mention of the upcoming BTC conference happening in Miami dubbed as ‘Bitcoin 2021.’ “I may or may not drop in to say hi to all of my dear friends over in Camp BTC,” he says. He describes the conference as a gathering for small blockers who talk about things, like how to HODL, how to spend and not spend BTC and how to not talk about anything that isn’t BTC. As Kurt explains, things are quite the opposite at the BSV camp. “We’re selling Blockchain as a service and as we often say, you don’t even need to buy that much BSV because with one BSV you could transact a hundred million times.”

Kurt wraps up the podcast by inviting everybody to watch and be part of the upcoming CoinGeek conference. “We’re going to be doing real business and doing real business development. That’s the power of unbounded Bitcoin.”
