More than 2,000 delegates from around the world are expected to attend Chain Plus+ Korea, one of the most influential blockchain summit and conference in South Korea.
Organized by Chainers and Korea media giant MTN (Money Today Network), the two-day summit will take place at the Seoul Dragon Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul, on Jan. 23-24. Chain Plus+ is part of the second annual Chainers Blockchain Week, which will also hold a one-week business tour of local projects, tech companies, crypto funds and exchange offices for attendees.
“We want to introduce blockchain technologies and projects that will be deeply embedded in people’s lives, introduce the application blockchain technologies that would lead to societal change, and create a heated debate about the impact the blockchain would have on the real world and economy,” organizers stated.
The two-day Chain Plus+ conference is composed of six tracks, which will tackle topics including the importance of blockchain global regulation standard, how corporates can utilize public chain, blockchain 3.0, security token offerings and the evolving exchanges and investment, among others.
More than 75 speakers from 15-plus countries will be on hand to share their knowledge and experiences, from government officials in both Korea and around the world as well as industry leaders includingTim Draper, founder of the Draper Associates, who will discuss “The Status and Future of Blockchain and Digital Asset,” while Silvio Schembri, Minister for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation of Malta, will talk about Malta’s journey to become “A Powerhouse of Economic Innovation.” Founding President of bComm Association Jimmy Nguyen will explain why Bitcoin SV is “The Original Bitcoin & Global Public Blockchain for Enterprise Applications.”

The summit, which will also host over 60 exhibitors, is supported by The Blockchainer, BlockchainI, JLAB, JRR Crypto, TimeStamp Capital, ONT Eco, Consensus Investment, and Blockchain Investment. It’s worth noting that Chain Plus+ is also the first event where Korea’s top five crypto exchanges will be in attendance: Bithumb, CoinOne, Upbit, CPDAX, and Cashierest.
