Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re living through one of the greatest eras of transformation in the financial world. While digitalization has been the major focus for most companies over the past decade, what does the next decade hold in store? Will artificial intelligence (AI) have a big impact, or will companies shift toward data-driven finance? These are some of the issues that the upcoming CFO Summit 2023 will shine a spotlight on.

The event will be held on April 3-4 at the Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. It will focus on a five-point agenda that will include market and user experience, financial inclusion, emerging technologies, and regulations and compliance.

An elite lineup of speakers will talk about the latest challenges in a rapidly changing world, with a focus on the role of the CFO in this new era. Post-pandemic, CFOs have had to adapt to an evolving landscape where automation, big data, and artificial intelligence are becoming more prevalent in their roles.

The speakers will discuss financial transformation, the fintech revolution, investment and financial resilience, and the role and future of digital assets.

The speakers’ list will include Mike Singh, the chief lending and revenue officer at UnionDigital, the digital bank subsidiary of Filipino banking giant UnionBank.

Others include Rommel Carlos, the founder and CEO of Arcus, a popular Web3 game; Myrtle Ramos, the CEO of Block Tides, an award-winning blockchain media group; and Arman Cruz, the founding president of Fin. Ed, a nationwide organization for finance educators and practitioners.

The CFO Summit has been a must-attend event for CFOs and other financial executives since 2020. Past summits have boasted of an elite speaker list that has included Globe Telecom CFO Rizza Maniego-Eala, Red Hat’s VP of Global Finance Shankha Sen, Standard Chartered Bank’s regional CFO Jean Fernandes and the senior vice president at Philippine Airlines, Maria Celest Mutuc.
