Digital asset exchange Bittrex Global has launched new features in response to its users’ needs. They include lower fees, an improved user interface and a referral program. The new features are part of its Trade Your Way campaign which seeks to offer the users with the best experience in light of the evolving market dynamics.
Bittrex has integrated credit card support for its users, with the initial phase catering to users in the Netherlands, France, the U.K. and Germany. It plans on supporting credit card use for all its users globally in due time. This will allow its users more choice and convenience as they will be able to use their credit cards to buy digital currency.
Bittrex has also lowered its maker and taker fees by over 50% until April 23, after which the fees will be cut by 20% indefinitely. Users can now make deposits, withdrawals and conditional orders on their phones as well, allowing the users to manage their risk exposure more effectively with ‘stop limit’ orders. The exchange has also improved its website with “new TradingView charts which will include real time data and users will be able to trade directly on chart for intuitive trading.” It will have more robust order types, new layout options and themes and more.
Users who refer others will also get to earn a reward with a new referral program, the exchange revealed in a press release shared with CoinGeek. Once a new trader signs up, the user who referred them will be able to earn 10% on all their trades, forever. The new users will also get to receive $15 worth of Bittrex Credits to use towards commission free trades.
Bittrex is committed to giving its users the best experience, Stephen Stonber, the COO stated. He added, “We are continually working on ways to provide a better experience for users. An enhanced mobile trading experience is one of our top priorities and creating this new credit card gateway is an important way of lowering the barriers to digital asset trading for new and existing customers alike. These features are the first of many we have planned that will underline Bittrex Global’s ambition to provide the best and most secure platform for digital trading.”
Bittrex continues to expand and innovate, recently grabbing headlines for securing a $300 million insurance cover for digital assets held in its cold storage. The cover was arranged through insurance market services provider Lloyds’s of London.
