Bitcoin SV scalability takes spotlight at WeAreDevelopers Live Week

nChain CTO Steve Shadders will be one of the speakers in the upcoming WeAreDevelopers Live Week virtual event, which is expected to attract over 12,000 attendees.

The second edition of the WeAreDevelopers Live Week will take place from October 5 to 9. With over 12,000 participants and 30+ talks, panels and workshops, the event will allow developers to learn, share secrets and connect online from the comfort of their homes.

The event will focus on some of the most high-profile emerging technologies, with some of the brightest minds taking the stage to give the participants a better understanding of these technologies. One of them will be nChain CTO Steve Shadders who will take to the stage on Day 4, October 8.

Shadders, who is also the technical director at the Bitcoin SV Node project, will talk about why Bitcoin SV (BSV) is the only blockchain that scales massively to meet developer needs and reinvent the Internet. For the developers, BSV opens up plenty of opportunities, including new career prospects such as leaning to become a Bitcoin script engineer. He will also delve into why BSV is the only Bitcoin project that adheres to Satoshi Nakamoto’s original protocol, design and massive scaling vision which allows Bitcoin to become a global data ledger for enterprises.

Other speakers who will talk about blockchain include Lucerne University of Applied Sciences professor Tim Weingärtner and Marta Geater-Pierkarska, the director of ecosystem at The Linux Foundation who will talk about how to leverage blockchain technology for business.

Shadders has been a speaker on WeAreDevelopers events in the past. In June 2020, he shared the virtual stage with Bitcoin Association Founding President Jimmy Nguyen to talk about why developers should build on Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Association will be the event’s partner for October 8, a day in which the focus will be on blockchain technology.

Other topics during the five-day event will be DevOps, security, machine learning and cloud computing.

You can register for free here and join thousands of other elite developers from across the globe, make connections and engage in Q&A sessions with the speakers.
