Providing a range of services for the growing Bitcoin Cash community, Bitcoin.com recently launched its own block explorer. The tool is designed primarily for searching information about Bitcoin Cash transactions, activities, and addresses. The block explorer will also help users gain accurate data about funds and processed blocks in the Bitcoin Cash network.

Bitcoin.com CEO Roger Ver described the block explorer as “a robust tool to analyze transactions, blocks, and addresses on both the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin Core (BTC) chains,” adding that the product enhances the platform and is thus an “awesome tool to the Bitcoin.com portfolio and the Bitcoin Cash community — Future plans include rolling out support for the growing ecosystem of colored coins built on top of the Bitcoin Cash protocol.”

The landing page for the block explorer showcases the latest blocks processed in the BCH network, as well as the latest transactions within those blocks. A search bar is located at the center of the page, which can be used to look for an address, a transaction, or even hashes for a certain block. The Bitcoin Cash block explorer intuitively transcodes the new address formats, allowing users to easily switch between compatible formats.

With the implementation of a new address format for Bitcoin Cash and a new type of vanity address generator specifically designed for the cryptocurrency, the block explorer’s utility becomes all the more necessary to improve the services offered by Bitcoin.com for Bitcoin Cash users.

With simple and informative resources like the Bitcoin Cash block explorer, users from different sectors may learn more about a specific transaction. All results churned out from the block explorer contain all the standard information that a user can view such as the input/output timestamps, byte size, scripting, and operation codes.

Adding the block explorer to its features, Bitcoin.com’s web portal continues to provide resources and tools dedicated to innovative blockchain technologies and prominent cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin Cash. The launch of Bitcoin.com’s Bitcoin Cash block explorer is among the steps to push the cryptocurrency game forward into a future replete with unrestricted growth, mass adoptions on a global scale, permissionless innovations, and open decentralized development.

Note: Tokens in the SegWit chain are referred to as SegWit1X (BTC) and SegWit Gold (SWG) and are no longer Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is the only true Bitcoin as intended by the original Satoshi white paper.  Bitcoin BCH is the only public block chain that offers safe and cheap microtransactions.
